Our hearts, they beat and they break

I don't know about you guys, but I do know, one thing's for sure, I heart February! very much. Don't you think February is the most special month of all ( since it only has 28 days), don't you think February is the weirdest month of all ( since it will only has 29 days, once in 4 years), don't you think February is the coolest month of all ( since my birthday falls in Feb), don't you think, Feb is the loveliest month of all (since everyone falls in love in February)~ February, I'm in love~ ;)

Exaggerate a bit, don't you think? thehe.

Last time I checked, I was writing an entry on the 1st of February, then, I had my birthday celebration and then poof! it's already at the end of February. February, please don't go~ back to reality aye? serious please! I don't want everything to come to an end but let's pray for a good beginning as March is approaching ;)

---
OK! enuff of the merepek-ness! I came across something beautiful yesterday and I tot I'd share it with you guys. Also wanted to give it away to the sweet-est person on Earth, I reckon. Dear Liebe Schatz, this one is for you!

When I was younger, I saw my daddy cry, And curse at the wind, He broke his own heart, As I watched, As he tried to reassemble it, And my momma swore that, She would never let herself forget, And that was the day that I promised, I'd never sing of love, If it does not exist.

But darling, you are the only exception.

Maybe I know, somewhere, Deep in my soul, That love never lasts, and We've got to find other ways, To make it alone, or Keep a straight face, and I've always lived like this, keeping a comfortable, distance, and Up until now, I had sworn to myself that I'm content, with loneliness, because none of it was ever worth the risk.

Sayang, you are the only exception.

I've got a tight grip on reality, but I can't let go of what's in front of me here, I know you're leaving in the morning, when you wake up, leave me with some kind of proof it's not a dream.

Baby, you are the only exception.

And I'm on my way to believing
Oh! and I'm on my way to believing...

Paramore, the only exception.

I know about the past, apparently,  but I do not know what the future holds but if it's meant to be then you need to wait and see ;)

If in doubt, just love ;)

Last Friday was a public hols. Maulidur Rasul~ the Bangi Clan went to PD. It was superb. the water was superb too. Had fun mandi manda at the beach, kayak-ing, and banana boating. later that nite, had bbq and celebrated Nadia's 1st anniversary and we wrap-up the night with a tour around PD.
It was hell of a fun but sadly we had to bid farewell on Saturday. Had brunch at one of the local shop and went straight away to Nilai for a last stop for ice cream. yummy I tell you.

It's 28th of February and it's time to say goodbye. Aufwiedersehen ;)

All I Want For My Birthday...

is/are/were/was...

I've been wanting to write this ages ago but couldn't find the exact time.
I turned 25 last Wednesday, February 17th and God, I felt loved.

Two things I really want for my birthday and I really have to kill you if I told you so. But if you're paying closer attention to details, you pretty much know what I really want for my birthday this year. I really want to accomplish these two things by the end of the year and please God, make it happen ;)

Apart of that, of course I'd like to have a normal birthday, spending time with loved ones, family and friends. And I guess, I had my wish ;)

I've celebrated my birthday with the Family one day earlier since it was Public Holiday. We had Sushi and Atie bought me a cake. I couldn't ask more when everyone was there sparing time celebrating my birthday. We did miss Angah and her Family though. We tagged along Daddy dear, I know you were super busy, working on Public Hols but seeing you there celebrating my birthday is the best feeling ever. I love you all and we did had a wonderful time aye? Thank you for having me here in this world, 25 and counting aye?

I had to work on my birthday! I don't know it's that a good or a bad thing. But someone got lucky that day aye? It was a normal day like others, except for everyone greeted me and yeh I remembered smiling all day long, I felt loved. thanks to those who wished me ;) After lunch, I was asked to stand on a table in the middle of the department and everyone gathered around and sang me 'Happy Birthday'. It was embarrassing at first but they said it's tradition. They bought me snacks and drinks, everyone was happy. I'm really gonna miss this place when I'm gone one fine day. I'm gonna miss the place, the people, the environment! ;(

I wished for the Rain that day and guess what later that evening it rained. After work, I headed back to Lynn's and she took me to Bora Ombak for a dinner treat. I thought it was only a dinner, eating out and hanging out with her friends like usual but before the clock strikes 12 that night, the Poco-poco girl came with a cake and sang me Happy Birthday. Thanks Lynn and the others(Oh! Nad for coming) for making my day, you always know how to cheer me up! And the best part was when Lynn said that she remembered two years ago I came to her house with a cake on her birthday and last year I flew to Melbourne on her birthday too.Doesn't matter aye? because I always know I can count on you Lynn! She's back at Melb yesterday, Sunday and I've already started to miss her ;( will see you again one fine day! and I wish you all the best in your future!

On Friday, Sarah bought me a slice of cake and God, we had fun watching Valentine's Day. A straight forward movie about love and being loved. We had fun catching things up like always. thanks dear, for always being there when I have stories to tell ;)

oh! oh! I've got 50% for Facial at Clarins for my birthday ;)

So many things happened that particular day, let the rest be history ;)

I couldn't ask for more. I felt loved and I know if it's not from you guys, I wouldn't be this happy. THANK YOU everyone ;)

25! You dah suku abad, said the Boss but I think I take that as  a compliment. hye! I'm now appreciating lyfe more! So Welcome To the Club ;)

World Cancer Day

Well, 4th of February 2010 was the World Cancer Day. Everyone at work was wearing yellow to support it. I was really excited when I entered the building because most of everyone was wearing yellow. Since yellow is my second favourite colour, it looks really cool ;) and of course I was wearing yellow too ;p Now please imagine The Digi Mascot, yeh that's the one.

At many times, Cancer has been feared and dreaded disease so this year's headline is "Cancer can be prevented too". It simply means that Cancer should be prevented rather than cured. Because most of the cases are not due to genetic problems, it's about our surroundings and the way we live. some representatives from MAKNA (National Cancer Council) came to give a talk about Cancer specifically in Malaysia. Well, whether you know it or not, Breast Cancer is the No. 1 Cancer in Malaysia especially women. No. 2 goes to Lung Cancer specifically men and No. 3 goes to Children with Leukemia.
So how does Breast Cancer ended up being No. 1 in Malaysia? simple. Mothers no longer breastfeed their children (I tell you what, you do not look super hot if you do not breastfeed your child, C'mon, logically, you are responsible to feed your own child and it is the cheapest way to do so all you need to do is spare your time). Secondly, Kawen lambat (OK! I cannot do anything about this one), Lastly, staying up late and the way we eat and live, by not exercising, not eating healthy and yeh lack of rest. I know we all wanna be rich, I know we all do not have time for this and that, I know we are all super duper busy people, but hye just remember that we all love you and please do take care of yourself by eating healthy, exercise and please have a rest! you're not a robot by the way so your body will show some changes and signs for example getting sick and all so please do remember to take care of yourself. I do not mean to pamper but yeh at least bear in mind that what you eat is what you are. There's actually a research in the UK saying that working night shifts prone to having Breast Cancer. Not just working night shifts but by staying up late can also be related to it cause logically when the whole day you're at work and still you're not sleeping during the nights and I tell you it ain't cool cause your biological clock in your body will be confused. once in awhile it's ok I guess when it's weekend or when you already have a good rest but I won't encourage you to staying up late every night. Please, it ain't cool.
Lung Cancer among men. wild guess? SMOKING of course! I don't know whether I can find a man in Malaysia where he does not smoke. If you do find one, and if he's single and available please let me know, thank you! Have I told you before that smoking is ain't cool and you smell like shit when you do. thank you again!
Children with Leukemia. One day if you're married and have kids you called your own please do not feed them with junk food. I know you love them and I know when you're a little kid, your parents won't allow you to eat junkie too but hye! look how you've become, healthy isn't it? once in awhile it's ok I guess but not everyday. I know it tasted really good but it's a poison to your body especially children. and I reckon if you train them well by eating healthy like eating fruit and veg, they will love it, trust me! and oh yeh! children with leukemia caused also by being the second-hand smoker, you know when your dad is a smoker and when one day you came into this world and he promised your mom not to smoke anymore because hye we have a child in this house but one day your dad came home from work stressing out I guess and he started lighting up the cigarette that he tot might help cool down his stress, ended up smoking in front of you. whose to blame? Go figure!
Scary isn't it? Early detection is great but why risk getting cancer in the first place? reduce your chances of developing cancer by simply limiting your risk factors. these factors include; smoking anything, dipping snuff or chewing tobacco( I told you it ain't cool!), A high fat diet, being overweight, A low fibre diet, Alcohol abuse, Inadequate amounts of certain vits and minerals, exposure to environment cancer-causing in the air and water, overexposure to the sun, too much radiation, and having too much stress.

I know you do not came across Cancer everyday but start a fight against cancer right now! Eat Healthy. Live Healthy ;)

Petua orang-orang tua saying that eating garlic will reduce the potential of having Cancer. Well it's similar to An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

I've finished my 2-days of induction. yippi yey ;) and Yesterday had pre-CNY celebration at the cafe with the whole department. Let's all Warghhhhh like a Tiger this year. huhu.

Happy Birthday, KL

;)

I'm not sure it's a correct way to say Happy Birthday, KL since today is Hari Wilayah Persekutuan and Wilayah Persekutuan means KL, Labuan and also Putrajaya. But according to Wikipedia, Hari Wilayah Persekutuan is a day where we celebrated KL as Ibu Negara of Malaysia, 1st of February every year.

It's February yo and I'm all excited~ that's all ;)

Today is the day you wish that you are currently working in KL so that you get to have a day off(It's Public Hols for KL-ians)! Well the traffic wasn't that bad also since it's Monday and I'm a bit amazed by the traffic on d way to the office and on the way back. A part of me have a desire to work in KL. Anywhere in KL. Call me crazy but I'd love to have a taste what is it like to be working in KL. You know? the hassle, the congested city, the overcrowd, packed, jammed, stuffed, overflowing, the tensed. And the other part of me says NO! Eventho I do not live in KL, but I was born in KL and like others I'm a bit patriotic when it comes to KL, my birth place. I've got goosebumps whenever I visited KL and also not forgetting the headache and pening pening lalat after touring KL. Besides all the shopping and the tallest building of all, KL has a lot more to offer. and I reckon it's our duty as a responsible citizen to improve things before the oldest tree in KL being chopped off( you know you can tell how old a city is by calculating the trees' age?), before everyone got killed because there's no clean air in KL, before everyone becomes a robbery and robs everyone in the street, before KL turns into some other places outside Malaysia, before everyone's killing each other and there's no peace in KL. I just love the tag-line by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Sayangilah Kuala Lumpur. Don't you just heart KL? So what's your contribution?
