In Wonderland

TWICE! Yeh I've seen Alice In Wonderland TWICE and I'm loving it~

And I know, It only hits 52% from the movie critics reviews saying that " Burton treats the eyes and tickles the funny bone, no doubt, but the heart and the mind are left wanting " and they also said that " quite tiresome in the end ".

I know it's only about a girl named Alice who lived in London and how she wandered in Wonderland and how she thought it might has been just a dream and it was only about the journey in Wonderland that everyone said that it was quite boring and predictable ( Well, it's a classic, everyone knows the story) but like a song, I'm more focused on the lyrics so, for movies I'd go for the script.

In Alice, I love hearing how they talked and how the words riddle. Sometimes, it makes perfectly no sense but it's funny to hear and it makes you think outta box. For example:

When the Mad Hatter always ask Alice " Why is a raven like a writing desk? " or when he sings " Twinkle, twinkle little bat, how I wonder what you're at ".

or how the Red Queen's favourite quote " Off with her head! "

Oh! and my favourite of all is when Alice is about to slay the Jabberwocky She remembered the six impossible things she believed in.

1. There's a potion that can make you small
2. There's a cake that can make you grow
3. Animals can talk
4. Cats can disappear
5. There's a place called Wonderland
6. I can slay the Jabberwocky

Oh! I can't wait for them to have it on VCD so I can buy it :)
Well for me it's a relaxing movie to watch over a box of popcorn.

So for those of you who haven't hit the cinema yet for Alice in Wonderland, what are you waiting for?

OK! it's time to get back to reality, I have questions to answer and I have things to do ;)

Oh! let's do Futterwacken for one more time ;)

Running Around In Circles

Have you ever get tired of running around in circles? Do you ever felt so excited at the first place, and then in the end felt so exhausted due to walking around in circles ended up being at the same place, same spot where you first begun. back at square one. time wasted, energy wasted. you're feeling lost. where did I go wrong? how do I ended up being at the same spot? Whose to blame?

Checkmate~

This is what happened to a friend of a friend of mine. Her name is... urm let's just call her A. I met A for the first time and I think she is very beautiful. You know that kind of person, beauty with brains, no questions asked, humble, down to earth and very friendly. One thing I noticed about her is, she is always smiling and saying nice things and everyone wants to be her friends just because. and I can bet my whole life I'll be receiving her wedding invitation by the end of this year.
One day, outta blue, she called, she cried and cried and cried. I wanted to help and ask what had happened-that-kinda-feeling but she kept on crying. Eventually, she told me what had happened. She's just tired of finding the one and felt that she's being cheated on many times as if she has no feelings, zero. She's in luf with her own best friend, used to. but he never cared. It took her ages to understand the 'only friends' thingy. She moved on. She's going out from her comfort zone and live her life. She met new people but at the same time, she built walls around her. One day, a guy came. he's really funny and being nice at the same time. had a good time together, knowing each other. telling stories, sharing is caring. He told her about his past, she listens. She told him about her worries, he gives suggestions. She is running outta time, she has to go. He had his chance.

---
Sorry A for telling this out loud. I will always pray for your happiness. and I think I can relate to your 'running around in circles story' and I know how frustrated you'll get in the end but I reckon, love knows no boundaries and love comes unexpectedly.

Cheers ;)

Ask Mom

source: images.google.com.my

I don't know why am I writing this, and I really don't think it's relevant enuff since it's weekend but yeh who cares! I need an update!

During my UPM days, me and a close friend, Sally used to ask one question, actually the same old question over and over again. The one and only, specific-ultimate-question that I think by now if I were to ask the same old question over and over again I'd slap myself real hard this time. and I ain't kidding about it. The ultimate question would be : Why Do I Have To Go To School? We would ask each other during the ride in the bus on the way to the class, we would also ask that question during the class itself with the look "Really, why do I have to study again?", and we would ask that same old question after the class ended, and yeh we would ask that question during the time we had to finish our assignments/tests/you name it, sometimes we do text each other asking the same old question, at lunch or when we were having dinner, we would normally ask the same question also. oh! and not forgetting breakfast and brunch. That question would normally popped up!

But by now, I do think I know the answer to that ultimate question. At least I know how important going to school is/was, at least in Malaysia. I'm not saying that studying will ensure your future, and I'm not saying it will make it brighter or darker but I'm pretty sure that it will help you, surviving in this world called Life. Well, actually studying is subjective, you get the picture? Well, at least SPM, if you're Malaysians.

Well, as I grow older, the same old question pops up again but in different version. This time, the question would be; Why Do I Have To Go To Work? Everywhere in this world if I were to go and ask that question, I reckon, I will get the same answer. What do you think that answer is? is it for enjoyment, to keep busy or? Well if you say Money, you are absolutely right. But the answer is wrong eventho it reflects the belief of the rest of the world.

Urm, so how does it work? Let's give it a try. You go to work to make money, correct? You need money to fulfill your lifestyles. You need home, car, basic necessities. Bottom line, you make money to fulfill your needs. What if by this time, you already met your basic needs, what's next? So you stop going to work? lazying around? or you still go to work to fulfill your dreams and desires? Everyone by now should at least have a dream. once you realize it, then work is nothing but a stepping stone to help you where you wanna go. The question would be, do you know at least, where you wanna go? and do you know what your dreams are?

It might take awhile to realize a dream. Think back to a dream once you had. First, decide where you wanna go and make it happen. but to live that dream, you had to pay a price and guess what, the price would have been going to work.

Please remember, dreams do come true ;)

Along that way, you'll come across some really nice people that will help you thru your way but sometimes, you'll come across some really not-so-nice people that will always bring you down no matter what. just remember these things will always make you stronger and God will always there for you no matter what also.

Oh! writing this, take me to a song.

Life is a climb but the view is great!

oh! Some say, work is like monkeys climbing a tree, everyone's climbing at diff level at diff time, the ones at the top looked down and see smiling faces, the ones at the bottom looked up and all they can see were assholes.

I slept and dreamed that life was beauty, I woke and found that life was duty! Indeed, life is beauty ;)

Cheers!
